Christiane Torloni leaves Globo after almost 50 years

Actress Christiane Torloni announced this Monday (1st) the end of her contract with Globo. From now on, the artist will join the list of actors hired for work, a measure by the broadcaster to cut costs.

Through Instagram, Christiane fondly recalled one of her first roles at Globo. “I’m proud to have lived through the Golden Era of a company that had the best of its time! It’s worth checking out Fragmentos, from Globoplay, with images of ‘Gina’ (1978), my first protagonist”, she began.

Torloni marked his first partnership with Globo in 1975, when he participated in an episode of “Caso Especial”. It was the following year that she joined the cast of the first soap opera, “Duas Vidas”.

“I am grateful to everyone who contributed and who continues to root for me! I learned that my Art, more than entertainment, is Consolation and Hope for many who live alone, hospitalized or in nursing homes for the elderly. My vocation is my North! Let us continue”, completed.

In the publication, she shared the video of her last appearance on the network, participating in the music program “The Masked Singer”.
