Rede Massa FM, led by Massa FM 92.9 from São Paulo and Massa FM 97.7 from Curitiba (PR), will now have another affiliate in the interior of Minas Gerais. This is the future Massa FM 88.3 from Itabirito (MG), a station that is an AM-FM migrant of the former Rede Gerais AM 1340. According to the editorial staff of the tudoradio.com, the broadcaster’s debut is scheduled to take place on Friday (10). Currently, the station is broadcasting unidentified programming.

The broadcaster that will receive the network’s programming in the popular/country format its migration took place in July 2022according to an article published by the portal tudoradio.com. The migrant was included as an operating class A4 issuer. The station will reach cities in the Greater Belo Horizonte region, including the capital of Minas Gerais.

With the confirmation of the new affiliate, Rede Massa FM now has three radio stations with the expectation of debuts in the coming months. In addition to Itabirito (scheduled for the 10th), the network will also feature the future Massa FM 92.3 from Rio do Sul (SC) which still does not have definitive information for its debut.

The Broadcast Communication Group (GCD) expects the start of operations with the popular format/hits network to take place in the first half of this year. The GCD also stated that the future Massa FM will have regional coverage.

Another affiliate that should also start its programming Coming soon is the future Massa FM 106.9 from Jaraguá do Sul (SC). The information regarding the possible arrival of Massa FM was made through a video promoting the new studios of Massa FM 97.7 in Florianópolis (SC), headquarters of Rede Guararema, a group that responds as an affiliate of Massa FM in the state capital, Blumenau (103.5 FM) and in the region of Balneário Camboriú (107.7 FM, from Brusque).

Despite the appointment of Massa FM for Jaraguá do Sul (SC), there is still no forecast for the station at 106.9 FM to go on air, as it is a new concession, identified as operating class A3. There is also no set date for the brand’s debut there, nor has there been an official confirmation from the network regarding the future affiliate.

The last official debut of a Massa FM station was last December, through Massa FM 105.7 from Foz do Iguaçu (PR).
