This Tuesday (2), is Autism Day. The date that was created in 2007 by the United Nations (UN), aims to make the subject visible, as well as its information surrounding the condition in the social environmentand reduce prejudice against people who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Curiouslythe disorder not only affects people from birthfor example. Late diagnosis can be discovered by people already in adulthood. In the world of celebrities, several famous people have already publicly shared the discovery of the condition.

Therefore, on Autism Day, the Observatory of Celebrities put together a list of famous Brazilians who have already been diagnosed. Check it out below:

Letícia Sabatella

The actressknown for several works on screen, said he discovered that he was diagnosed with mild ASDwhen seeking help from specialists such as psychiatrists and neurologists, in 2023.

“I recognize that I am learning about this subject, that I don’t know about it. I know about myself very intuitively and that is the value of a good diagnosis to pave your path, because a person who doesn’t know themselves is much more susceptible to being oppressed”she said, in an interview with the podcast Talking Parrot.

Leilah Moreno

The actress and singerwho became known for being one of the protagonists of the series Antonia (2006), on Globo, and is part of the program’s band High Hourss, She has also been diagnosed with autism.

“I wasn’t a non-verbal autistic, I was communicative, but I had moments of isolation, I still do. I had quite a social hangover. I lived well with my family, I played, but whenever the party ended, I needed to isolate myself. That left me confused. I was overwhelmed with noise, too much information”she said in an interview with the Gshow portal, in 2021.

Jessica Sodré

Remembered to this day for the role of Lady Daiane, in Lady of destination (2004), the actress was also diagnosed with Tea, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

“I didn’t understand people or the way they acted. It was like an inability to perceive nuances. Therefore, I hadn’t looked for any way to do tests for a long time. But about two years ago, I investigated and got the diagnosis. Now that I understand myself, I believe I am ready to return to the market”she said, in an interview with the newspaper O Globo, in 2023.

Angelica Martins

The former participant of BBB 11also known as Strawberry, revealed that she was diagnosed as an adult, in 2022. “It was really crazy. When I was diagnosed by the psychologist it was a shock. I cried. It was a cry of fear at the same time, of what it meant to be a person diagnosed as autistic. And at the same time it was very cathartic, it brought me great relief because I understood that a lot of how I work, how I deal with people has a reason. It’s not a question of personality”she said, at the time, through social media.

Danilo Gentili

The comedian and presenter of The Nighton SBT, said he was diagnosed with autism more than a year ago .“Whether I’m autistic or not, I don’t want to know. For me, that’s who I am and that’s the way it was.”he argued, at the time, during an interview with Amanda Ramalho.
