Through social networks, Victor Kley reveals that he was forced to postpone a big dream due to surgery. The singer recently underwent knee surgery, following a torn ligament, and explained that this meant canceling a plan he had.
After revealing that the surgery was successful, the singer confessed; “I had never been able to fulfill my dream of traveling with my friends on a surf trip. This year I had everything paid for and everything was ready to go to Mentawaii, Indonesia, to surf the best waves in the world with some of my best friends.“.
Soon after, he detailed: “There were brothers from Portugal, here from Brazil and even some who are in Australia“. However, he explains: “It wasn’t meant to be, I tore my knee ligament and it was ugly“. Later, the artist admits: “Yes, I’m that person who believes that everything has a reason and if I wasn’t supposed to go now it’s because something bigger was waiting for me.“.
The singer also explains that, now, between April 8th and 26th, when he was supposed to be traveling, he will be focused on his own recovery, showing himself motivated, despite everything. “By injuring myself in this way I learned that I can overcome things that I thought were almost impossible, like relearning how to walk, doing shows, playing at carnival, traveling for 2 months with an iron splint on my leg.”he confesses.
Further on, he stated: “I realized that the strength of our mind is truly an incredible strength! And depending on how we see things, everything becomes lighter and clearer“, also thanking the people he met and who helped him. “There are things that are the way they have to be, it is not in our control. Now, what we can control and how we bear the weight of events is up to us.”highlights.
Finally, the Brazilian artist reflects: “From here I only take love, light and I can’t wait to do my first show with my new knee! It couldn’t be any different, the first show after this will be in a place that I consider my home, Audio, in São Paulo, on May 1st. I wait for you to celebrate life“.
