Kate Middleton receives new distinction from Charles III (she was 1st in royalty)

-

Keven Middleton was singled out by King Charles III to play a new role. As reported by Hello! magazine, the Princess of Wales was chosen for the position of Royal Companion in the Order of the Companions of Honor.

The order recognizes the princess’s work as a royal and her support and interest in the arts.

Prince William’s wife is the first member of the British royal family to be singled out for recognition in the 107-year history of the Royal Companion.

The Princess of Wales, remember, is royal godmother of the National Portrait Gallery, the V&A and the Photographic Society.

David Attenborough, Margaret Attwood, Dame Judi Dench, Paul McCartney and Elton John, for example, are names that are part of the order in question.

The Order of the Companions of Honor – limited to just 65 people – was created by King George V in 1917 and recognizes work carried out in the arts, sciences, medicine and public services.

It should be noted that, currently, Kate is battling cancer, which is why she is away from public royal commitments.
