Simone de Oliveira left the house where she lived for around five decades, in October, and is currently at Casa do Artista. At first, she admits, she missed home a lot, but now, with a big room, her things there and the good treatment they give her, she no longer expects to leave.

Why go home? It was 50 years. All my memories are there, Varela died there, we got married there… It’s a house of memories and soul, and that’s it, it’s over. When I leave here, this house, I’m going to the cemetery“, he confessed in an interview with TV 7 Dias magazine.

Simone de Oliveira also said that she does not have any illness, at least for now, other than some difficulty walking. “I walk with a cane. If I have to go somewhere, I’ll use a wheelchair, because I didn’t want to have surgery on my left knee.“, he confided.
