Streets and avenues are receiving asphalt paving services in different parts of the city of Arapiraca.
On the afternoon of this Tuesday (26), Mayor Luciano Barbosa monitored the asphalt paving works on Cícero Romão da Silva and André Félix da Silva streets, in the Novo Horizonte neighborhood.
The Secretary of Infrastructure, engineer Roany Izidoro, also visited the construction site alongside engineers and technicians from the company responsible for the services.
In the Guaribas and Verdes Campos neighborhoods, more than 70 thousand square meters of paving and deep drainage are being carried out on 49 streets in the two communities of Arapiraca.
Mayor Luciano Barbosa’s administration has already surpassed the mark of 175 kilometers of road paving throughout the municipality.
According to Roany Izidoro, Mayor Luciano Barbosa’s determination is for more streets and avenues to be included in the actions to requalify the city’s road network, prioritizing access and connections between neighborhoods to improve traffic, access and quality of life of the population.
