The City of Arapongas, through the Municipal Secretariat of Public Security and Traffic (Sestran), warns that the consumption of soft drinks or beer in cans or bottles will not be permitted at the Estádio dos Pássaros, during the final games of the Workers’ Tournament, next day. May 01. “The measure aims to guarantee the safety of all families who attend this traditional sporting event in our city and which brings together thousands of people every year”, says the ministry’s secretary, Paulo Argati. According to him, the consumption of soft drinks and beer will be permitted, as long as they are sold in plastic containers or disposable cups and do not pose any type of danger to patrons.
Argati also informs that the use of fireworks will not be permitted, as well as flags with poles that could pose a danger to the safety of attendees. “We will have a strong security system at the access gates, through the Municipal Guard and the Military Police. We hope that everything goes on in a harmonious atmosphere, like what we had last year, and that the entire event is a beautiful celebration of what is the biggest event in our amateur sport”, concludes Argati.
