Santos will make available, this Saturday (27), vaccine doses for all ages, from 9 am to 3:30 pm, in ten polyclinics. The city of Santos is out of doses of the Pfizer Bivalent vaccine, used as a booster for people over 12 years of age, and is awaiting the transfer from the Ministry of Health, which has already been requested.

In addition to the campaign against flu and covid-19, which normally continues for children aged 6 months to 11 years of age and for people who have not yet started the vaccination schedule, the units update the other immunizers in the National Vaccination Calendar (except BCG, which follows a specific schedule from Monday to Friday). The Bom Retiro (Rua João Fraccaroli s/nº) and Rádio Clube (Av. Hugo Maia s/nº) units will be open, in the Northwest Zone; Campo Grande (Rua Carvalho de Mendonça, 607), Esttuário (Avenida Afonso Pena, 541) and Gonzaga (Rua Assis Correia, 17), on the Orla; Caruara (Rua Andrade Soares s/nº), in the Continental Area; Martins Fontes (Rua Luiza Macuco, 40) and Vila Mathias (Rua Xavier Pinheiro, 284), in the Central Region; Nova Cintra (Rua José Ozéas Barbosa s/nº) and Santa Maria (Rua 10 s/nº), in Morros. The Policlínica Martins Fontes (Rua Luiza Macuco, 40) will only have flu doses.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Routine vaccines that are part of the national immunization calendar are offered according to age. The list of available immunization agents can be seen on the Ministry of Health website.

People aged 60 or over, pregnant women and women who have recently given birth (up to 45 days after giving birth), children aged 6 months to 5 years, people with comorbidities, healthcare workers, bedridden people (responsible person must register at the polyclinic by 04/15), residents long-term care institutions, primary and higher education teachers, security and rescue forces professionals, Armed Forces professionals, truck drivers, public road transport workers for urban and long-haul passengers and port workers.
