O Chingu Korean BBQ barbecue restaurant, in Caroline Springs, USA, has not yet opened to the public but is already generating interest across the country.
At issue is a giant poster placed in front of the building, which reads: “Sophia, you broke up with me because I was poor. Now I have money to open a Korean restaurant. Are you sorry?”, he asks.
The image of the billboard was shared on social media, where it aroused the curiosity of everyone who wanted to know what was behind this message.
Many suggested that it was all just a marketing action to generate curiosity about the place and there were several comments about the fact that Sophia was not at all interested in what had happened.
“I think Sofia can’t read your sign from her new boyfriend’s yacht” or “He pays rent for his new business but Sophia continues to live for free in his head”, wrote some internet users while another, on the side of businessman, says that “revenge is a dish best served grilled”.
Unable to discover the story behind the message, there were those who tried to take advantage of it.
Another local restaurant decided to use a similar message, addressing the barbecue owner. “Hey, don’t worry about Sophia. We have all the desserts you need here,” announced Gotham Doughnuts, a bakery.
