“Inspector Max” one of the most successful series on Portuguese television.
The series focuses on the day-to-day life of the Judiciary Police inspector, Jorge Mendes (played by actor Fernando Luís), and his colleague, police dog, Max.
The first two seasons were originally shown between 2004 and 2005 (and continue to be repeated on TVI and TVI Ficção). In 2016, new episodes were recorded, but without the success of the past.
Two decades later, images were released on social media showing how the local state served as the setting for the character’s family home. Jorge Mendesmade up of the children, Tiago (Afonso Maló) and Catherine (Sara Butler), by father-in-law John (Ruy de Carvalho), and by the faithful maid Justina (Manuela Cassola).
The house, which was only used in outdoor filming (the interior was in a studio), is located in Serra da Arrábida (as mentioned in the series) and is (apparently) abandoned, with vegetation around it.
