A The current edition of ‘Big Brother’ is being widely praised for the fact that it has very diverse people in its range of competitors, with emphasis on Daniela Ventura, who converted to Islam in 2022, and Jacques Costa, the first non-binary person to enter in this reality show in Portugal.
In this sense, the competitors themselves are trying to learn more about these two mentioned realities, which motivated a conversation that, in a few minutes, went viral on social media.
Jacques Costa and Catarina were talking about game strategies when the first approach came up about the fact that the former was non-binary.
“You’re using the wrong pronoun. Use ‘she’. I know we’re talking about you, but try…”asked Jacques, with Catarina immediately questioning: “But do you want me to treat you like a girl?”
Jacques then explained that he wants to be addressed with feminine pronouns, even though Catarina took the opportunity to ask more questions. “Are you a man?”he asked, with Jacques reinforcing that he is non-binary. “But do you have a dick?”continued Catarina, with her colleague responding affirmatively.
Catarina then offered to lend Jacques a dress and also asked if her colleague likes “men or women”. “That part is secondary. I usually like men,” she explained.
