Without a doubt, one of the most exciting moments of the ‘Big Brother’ gala this Easter Sunday, March 31st, was starring Daniela Ventura.
The 24-year-old Angolan competitor told her story on ‘Curva da Vida’, in which she made harsh confessions.
Daniela, who never met her father, revealed that she always felt left out in the family, especially after her mother started a relationship with a man who had another son.
However, when he was nine years old, his mother fell ill and ended up dying. The contestant did not go to the funeral, as her grandmother kept what had happened a secret, something that she has still not been able to forgive.
As she grew, she began to look like her mother and to be treated differently. “From then on I closed myself off completely and started drinking. It was anger and resentment at being denied and I always kept quiet”, she emphasizes.
At the age of 19, Daniela received an offer to marry a man in exchange for money. With this she left for London, far from imagining that there she would experience the worst moments of her life.
After being kicked out of the room where she lived with that person, she agreed to share a place with another man she met. When they had a more intimate conversation, in which she ended up revealing that she was a virgin, Daniela was forced to have sexual intercourse.
“Either you do it, or you leave. So much had happened to me in my life that I got it into my head that ‘you can do it and that you will overcome it’. It got to the point where I no longer knew whether my body or my body hurt more. soul. I felt so dirty”she remembers, washed in tears.
Once in Portugal, once she ended up returning, Daniela lost hope in the future. “I had an overdose of pills. I was really alone and I felt that in the state I was in it wasn’t worth it. I went to the room, my grandfather was sleeping and I gave him a little kiss”she reports, noting that her grandmother found her unconscious and was hospitalized.
The big change happened in 2022, when the Islamic religion was introduced on TikTok. Daniela decided to convert and, since then, her life has had a new “beginning”.
