The first boyfriend of Princess Beatrice, daughter of Sarah Ferguson, died from an overdose. Paolo Liuzzo was just 41 years old and was found dead in a hotel room in Miami, United States.

According to ‘The Sun’, the art consultant’s body was found in one of the rooms of the CitizenM Miami WorldCenterat 3:22 pm on February 7th.

Michael Vega, police officer from the Miami department, says the case is being “investigated as an overdose death” and that the “investigation is open and ongoing”. A friend of Liuzzo, according to the same publication, says that his friend was involved in a lifestyle of addiction, namely drugs and gambling.

Although the death has only been made public now, the funeral took place on February 16, in Long Island, New York, which was his hometown. The death certificate states that Paolo Liuzzo lived in an apartment close to the hotel where he was staying and was single.

It should be remembered that the romance between Beatrice and Liuzzo began in 2005, when she was 17 and he was 24.
