The surprise happened as soon as the first news about the separation came out, which happened on the eve of Rita Ferro Rodrigues traveling to Thailand with her two children and stepson. The production assistant, who is living at his mother’s house, has already tried to return to the arms of his youngest son’s mother and, at the last minute, even wanted to go with his family on a trip to Asia, but the presenter was irreducible.

A NEW STAGE

And if Rúben has shown signs of regret, Rita Ferro Rodrigues reveals, at 47 years old, that she is increasingly determined, but in the opposite direction. According to ‘The Mag’, after having had a hard time with the separation in January, the presenter is now stronger, especially after the trip, which helped put everything into perspective.

In fact, when he embarked for Thailand, his mind was already made up. At that point, she took off her ring and assumed the new phase of life with a smile on her lips and a spirit of resilience. On social media, she also left some messages about new beginnings and showed that she had gotten a tattoo to mark this stage. The presenter inscribed the word sisterhood on her forearm, certainly alluding to the increased support she received from her closest friends.

Publicly, however, she has remained silent and when confronted by Cristina Ferreira, on the program ‘Dois à 10’, about the separation, she preferred not to dwell on the subject. “I’m not going to talk, not now or ever”, she limited herself to saying, adding that she was fine and calm.

This is not the first major crisis that the couple has gone through over the 18 years of marriage, and in the past friends have reported that Rita Ferro Rodrigues has already forgiven some of her husband’s betrayals.
