Carlos III makes important announcement regarding his 1st anniversary on the throne

NNext Monday, May 5th, King Charles III and Queen Camilla celebrate their first anniversary since ascending the British throne.

Regarding the date, the sovereign made an important public announcement regarding the solidarity causes he supports.

As highlighted by Hello! magazine, a large number of organizations – which exceed a thousand – have been embraced by the monarch since the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September 2022.

Thus, in addition to the associations he previously supported, Carlos added 302 associations to his list, while Camilla added 24.

Note that the work will not just be focused on the kings, as it will be distributed among the other senior members of royalty, as is the case with the princes of Wales.

When they sponsor a particular organization, royal members make a point of highlighting it – through in-person visits and other projects – in order to raise funds for them.

It is also important to remember that last week, King Carlos III returned to face-to-face engagements after publicly revealing his fight against cancer.

Just this Friday (May 3rd), as you can see from the images in the gallery, he was in good spirits on the third day of a riding competition in Windsor.
