Health Surveillance highlights that it is essential for all residents to carry out daily care in their homes

Among the actions to combat dengue, Louveira City Hall has already carried out 2862 visits to homes for guidance and quick inspections against breeding sites for the transmitting mosquito, however, 22% of homes were closed and were not attended to. Health Surveillance emphasizes that it is essential for all residents to carry out daily care in their homes. Through a quick 10-minute inspection, it is possible to eliminate stagnant water points that generate mosquito proliferation.

According to Surveillance, the effectiveness of combating dengue depends on the action of each person at home and work. For those who are unable to assist the agents during the visit, the City Hall asks residents to look for and dispose of standing water in their backyards and gardens. In this way, the resident protects himself and everyone around him.

Among other actions by the City Hall, is the use of drones to inspect difficult-to-access places, theater presentations in Municipal Schools to raise awareness among children, inspections of places that have been reported by residents and works to guide and eliminate mosquito breeding sites.

Also underway throughout the city is the Mutirão Bairro a Bairro, which carries out mowing, weeding, cleaning drains, maintenance of squares and public spaces, sweeping, changing light bulbs and working on the pick-up truck, thus complementing the fight against dengue. .
