This Monday (01/4) the City of Mogi das Cruzes offers the option of scheduling the flu vaccine online exclusively for the elderly. The “Clique Vacina” system is an alternative for immunization with a scheduled day and time, but the dose is also available on free demand at Health Centers.
Doses are available from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm. Nine units located in strategic points of the city are operating until 6 pm: Jardim Ivete, Vila Suíssa, Braz Cubas, Alto Ipiranga, Ponte Grande, Vila Nova Aparecida, Botujuru, Jundiapeba and Vila Natal.
This year, the doses are being registered by name in the Ministry of Health system, therefore, those vaccinated must present a document with a photo (containing ID and CPF number) or SIS card, vaccination booklet and proof of which priority group they belong to.
The vaccine is available for the following risk groups:
• Children (from six months to 5 years, 11 months and 29 days)
• Elderly people aged 60 and over
• Pregnant women
• Postpartum women (up to 45 days after giving birth)
• Indigenous peoples and Quilombolas
• People with comorbidities, chronic diseases and other special clinical conditions (see list of comorbidities covered)
• People with motor, hearing, visual or intellectual disabilities (which limit activities of daily living)
• Homeless people
• Health workers (health professionals and other workers in health care services, surveillance, support, caregivers, doulas/midwives and students providing health care)
• Teachers and other employees of regular education schools: kindergarten, elementary, secondary and higher education
• Security and rescue forces professionals
• Armed forces professionals
• Truck drivers
• Public road transport workers (drivers, conductors)
• Port workers
• Population deprived of liberty and prison system employees.
