Arapongas City Hall, through the Municipal Health Department, released this Wednesday, 24th, the new dengue epidemiological bulletin – from April 14th to 20th. According to Endemic Disease Control, Arapongas has 4,146 notifications; 2,440 confirmed cases (2,208 acquired within the municipality and 80 imported cases); 374 under investigation; 1,332 negatives and four deaths. The City Hall also informs that it continues with actions to combat and prevent the Aedes aegypti mosquito throughout the city. “Inspection measures, blockages, cleaning, home visits and at strategic points and guidelines. Above all, it is important that the population contributes to public power. Dengue is a serious but preventable disease. Therefore, avoid the accumulation of stagnant water and garbage”, reinforces the coordinator of Endemic Disease Control, Valdecir Pardini.

Important Tips:
– Keep the water tank closed and clean
– Do not leave water accumulated on the slabs
– Keep tires in covered areas until correct disposal
– Keep the yard clean and trash bins covered
– Wash pet water poles at least twice a week
– Always leave the toilet lid closed.

PARANÁ

The State Department of Health (Sesa) released the new dengue epidemiological bulletin. The document counts 260,517 confirmed cases of dengue in Paraná, 41,472 more than in the previous weekly bulletin. An additional 31 deaths were also recorded, totaling 171 deaths from the disease in this epidemiological period, which began on July 30, 2023 and continues until July 2024.
