A study, carried out by William Paterson University, in New Jersey (USA), listed the healthiest foods in the world and seven fruits appear on the list. The first of these is Sicilian Lemon.

The research, focused on analyzing the nutritional density of various foods, highlighted the Sicilian lemon as the first fruit on the listwith the top 10 on the list being occupied by green vegetables.

Sicilian lemon appeared as the first fruit on the list, appearing in 28th position, followed by strawberry and orange.

The ranking took into account the proportion of vitamins, fiber and other healthy components in relation to the number of calories.
