The Multivaccination campaigns (approval of Vaccination Cards for children and adolescents from zero to 14 years old), against Influenza (Flu) and against Covid continue in Itu and, this week, take place on April 29th and 30th, 2nd, 3rd and May 4th, except for the Labor Day holiday (01/05). On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, campaigns will be carried out in all Basic Health Units (UBS), from 7am to 6pm, with UBS 02 (Jardim União) and UBS 05 (Rancho Grande) open until at 7pm. On Saturday (05/04), vaccination takes place from 8am to 2pm, at UBS 02 (Jardim União) and 05 (Rancho Grande).

The following groups can receive the flu vaccine: children aged 6 months to under 6 years (5 years, 11 months and 29 days), healthcare workers (health workers in public and private services, at different levels of complexity, as defined by the Ministry of Health), pregnant women, postpartum women (women in the period up to 45 days after giving birth), teachers and workers from primary to higher education institutions, indigenous peoples, traditional quilombola peoples and communities, individuals aged 60 or older, security and rescue forces professionals, Armed Forces professionals, people with chronic non-communicable diseases and other special clinical conditions regardless of age (as defined by the Ministry of Health), people with permanent disabilities (as defined by the Ministry of Health), truck drivers, public road transport workers for urban and long-distance passengers, port workers, population deprived of liberty and employees of the prison system, adolescents and young people aged 12 to 21 years under socio-educational measures, people in of street.

The Itu Health Department informs that vaccination against Covid follows the determinations of the Ministry of Health, always in accordance with the number of vaccines made available by the aforementioned federal body. It is important to highlight that the Pfizer Bivalent vaccine is in short supply by the Ministry of Health. Any questions can be clarified by the citizen at the reference UBS.
