“This event aims to not only honor these important dates, but also respond in a practical and positive way to the environmental challenges we face, especially in the wake of the devastating fires of the summer of 2022”, the missive reads.
“As part of this celebration and recovery effort, we organized a tree planting action in the area affected by the Trafal fire, in Vale do Lobo, whose area to be planted is approximately 8000 mtwo and the trees to be planted will total around 185”, the document continues to read.
“This symbolic gesture of renewal and hope highlights our ongoing commitment to environmental preservation and sustainability. Furthermore, we will have the honor of having the special participation of some EXISTIR students, who will join us in this act of reforestation, reinforcing the community spirit and commitment to the future of our planet” reinforces Infralobo.
The reforestation action will take place in the burned area, in the Trafal area, in Vale do Lobo, on the next Arbor Day, March 21st, between 10:00 am and 12:30 pm.
