Two phone calls asking for money and a threat. Father reports kidnapping of daughter who was involved in the scheme

The father of an 18-year-old girl reported his daughter’s abduction to the authorities, in Setúbal, this Friday night, after receiving two phone calls demanding deposits and threatening to kill the girl if she didn’t do so. you know TVI (from the same group as CNN Portugal). However, it was all just a scheme to extort money from the parent – there is a suspicion that the young woman simulated the kidnapping with the help of accomplices.

According to the man, they first demanded 200 euros and in the second call 150.

The young girl’s parent said he did not know her location, but believed she was in Lisbon.

The last time he saw his daughter was four months ago, as she does not live with him.

However, the young woman was located. According to what was possible to ascertain, she is in good health and there are suspicions that it was a scheme to extort money from her father, since the girl was in contact with the alleged kidnappers.

The alleged victim and the “kidnappers” were located and accompanied the Judiciary Police (PJ) inspectors to carry out the respective investigations.
