Turkish defender Serdar, from Sporting de Braga, was discharged from hospital this Saturday after being transported to Braga Hospital with a craniofacial injury during the reception against Gil Vicente, from the Portuguese First Football League.

“Now we are completely happy. Serdar is doing well and has already been discharged from hospital”, announced the Minho club on the social network ‘X’ (formerly Twitter).

The 21-year-old Turkish player collided with his goalkeeper Matheus during added time and, after being assisted for several minutes, left the stadium in an ambulance, having been transported to Braga Hospital for observation.

Sporting de Braga beat Gil Vicente 2-1 on the 26th round of the League.
