It started as a label that brought together five friends, including four djs (Adam Port, Rampa, &Me and Reznik) and a graphic designer and painter who became the artistic director (Monja Gentschow), later transforming into one of the dj collectives most appreciated around the world. But here we go. The style had already been identified here, in a previous column, in which I referred to Organic House as the new major musical trend that was beginning to take over our country. This style that straddles Deep House and Techno has exploded in such a way that it has become an authentic game changer, making certain electronic music so appreciated that one of its spectrums runs the risk of becoming mainstream. If you asked me to define it, I would say that it doesn’t disappear on a single plane but that it builds up as if it were a sensorial journey, often with mystical voices and synthesizers working the chorus and that don’t hurt the ear or need to be played. at crazy speeds to set the dance floors abuzz.

It’s a new way of hearing more intense beats in a smooth and even sweet way in the way it enters the ear. It is these sounds that have been responsible for the emergence of most of the successful music producers in the Lisbon area and that have brought to the audiences and dance floors a less gray, more eclectic and beautiful audience, with a lot of female audiences joining in. to the phenomenon. Now Keinemusic is currently synonymous with full houses and sold-out events everywhere. This is the case in Portugal, where they confirmed on their official website the date of June 22nd as the big debut in our country and it didn’t take 24 hours for the event to be sold out and sales to end.

They appear to confirm some rumors that took them for granted at the Yard festival and in their new episode in the newly nicknamed “The White Sand Mountains” in Quinta do Anjo, next to Quinta do Conde, on the South Margin. how many tickets were put on sale, I know they started at €75 and went on and on. They were gone in a flash, I don’t know if there will be a new sale, probably with a more expensive slot, it’s possible. The truth is that the fever of the five friends who promised to “be driven by the spirit of finding their own agenda and refining House and Techno out of the ordinary” is paying off and creating a real fever wherever they go.

I could call them different “Forms of Love” like Adam Port’s music, but the best thing is to listen to their most recent single “Thandaza” to understand how the tribal sounds merge with the synthesizers and the piano, often strongly influenced by African cultural magic in a truly explosive mix that at the same time allows us to travel and dance through emotions and the cadence of our senses.
