Decentralized public meetings continue to take place across the parishes of the Municipality. The next one is in the parish of Âncora and will take place next Wednesday, March 27th, at 6:30 pm, in the Parish Council Building. Citizens interested in participating can register by calling 258 710300, or by email: [email protected] up to 48 hours before the meeting date.

As we have mentioned, these meetings are an instrument of participation that citizens have at their disposal to dialogue directly with the people who control the municipality’s destinies. In addition to promoting proximity to the population, these meetings allow the president and councilors of the City Council to listen, clarify and account for municipal management, thus contributing to a more participatory local democracy.

These meetings have as their only item on the agenda the consultation of citizens. Those interested in participating must register at least 48 hours before the meeting date. When registering, residents must indicate their telephone number and the subject to be discussed. Priority will be given to matters related to the parishes in question and of collective and/or public interest.
