The Portuguese was half a second faster on the final lap, but lost a second between the third and fourth sectors. Enea Bastianini, on Ducati, was the fastest

Miguel Oliveira finished the free practice session (TL) of the Portuguese Grand Prix in the afternoon in 17th place and whose best time was 1,39.048 minutes.

On the last lap, the driver from Almada continued with a lap around half a second faster than the one he had done at the beginning of training, but in the fourth sector he lost half a second, without realizing what caused it.

The Portuguese driver, who had finished 8th in the first free practice session, worsened his record this Friday afternoon and thus missed direct access to Qualification 2 (Q2), in which the 12 fastest drivers are included, having to participate again in Q1 to improve position on Sunday’s race grid.

Enea Bastianini, on a Ducati, was the fastest (1.38.057 minutes), followed by Jack Miller (KTM, +0.118 seconds) and Marc Márquez (Gresini, +0.148s). Two-time world champion Francesco Bagnaia was at risk of competing in Q1, but the last lap was enough to reach eighth place. The runner-up, Jorge Martin (Pramac) was in fourth place.
