This Sunday, March 24th, the town of Pinhal Novo will host an exciting cycling race aimed at the youth category. The sporting event promises to attract young talents to Pinhal Novo in a competition full of adrenaline and skill on two wheels.
Young cyclists will face a challenging route along the roads of the Vale Flores urbanization, in the south of the village.
The route, which includes a start and finish line at Rua do Factor, next to Escola Básica Alberto Valente and which will involve seven cycling events – between 2.4 km and 25 km – one of which is a gymkhana, with an urban route, will test not only the physical resistance, but also the technical dexterity of each participant.
The test is scheduled between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm tomorrow. Organized by Portuguese Cycling Federation and supported by the Setúbal District Cycling Association and Palmela City Councilthe 3rd Youth Cycling Prize promises to be a spectacular event, both for the athletes and for the spectators who will gather along the route to cheer on their favorites.
The main objective of organizing these types of sporting events is to encourage young people to practice sports, thus promoting an environment of camaraderie and enthusiasm around an exciting sport that is captivating more and more young people.
