The Chamber of Braga opened a competition to recruit a senior Communications technician to develop various functions related to this area, in addition to marketing, digital content production and social media management.
A note published on the municipality’s website states the opening of the competition for the submission of applications – since March 18th -, with a deadline ending on April 1st.
The municipality is looking for someone to develop “consultative, study, planning, programming, evaluation and application of methods and processes of a technical and/or scientific nature, which support and prepare the decision”.
“Preparing opinions, projects and activities in the area of communication and marketing” are other tasks assigned by the municipality to the functions of senior communication technician, with the person also being responsible for managing the municipality’s social networks, such as Facebook or Instagram.
The functions also include producing “news content and spaces; execution of initiatives within the scope of institutional communication; creation and management of communication and marketing projects and plans, at a corporate level or aimed at external audiences”.
It will also have journalistic functions, such as “event coverage, editing and editing of reports and videos”, in addition to the aforementioned “management of social networks and digital platforms”.
The “preparation, promotion and implementation of internal communication plans and activities” is another of the functions that awaits the winner of the competition.
