Jornal de Leiria – Founder of Mler Ife Given among the 10 names of the next Portuguese Exploratory Music Cycle

The program for the fourth edition of the Portuguese Exploratory Music Cycle, which will take place between May and November 2024, is already known.

Curated by Fade In, it ends this year with the participation of Nuno Rebelo, founding member of Mler Ife Dada (a notable band that emerged in the 80s) who will perform at Igreja da Misericórdia – Centro de Diálogo Intercultural de Leiria.

The next edition of the Portuguese Exploratory Music Cycle begins on May 4th at the Igreja da Pena do Castelo de Leiria with a concert by Ravenna Escaleira. Still in May, Hidden Horse performs.

In the month of June, it’s Ondness and Ben Yosei’s turn.

In July, Fade In invites Voltaic Trio and Nzungu & Katerina L’Dokova.

After a break, the Portuguese Exploratory Music Cycle returns on September 21st with Inês Condeço and Pedro PMDS and in October it hosts the Solar Corona Elektrische Maschine project.

At the close, in November, Folclore Impressionista and Nuno Rebelo, on different dates, respectively November 2nd and November 23rd.

Meanwhile, Fade In also announced that the 13th Extramuralhas, which takes place on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of August 2024, features the French Hammershøi and the Spanish Fotocopia and Dame Area.
