The parish of Santa Maria dos Anjos and the Municipality of Ponte de Lima jointly promote the Florida Chapels Route, from March 28th to 30th, as part of the Holy Week celebrations, which last from March 9th to April 7th.
During the days that form the Easter Triduum, between Maundy Thursday and Holy Saturday, a dozen temples located in the Historic Center of Ponte de Lima will be open to the public.
A tour of these churches and chapels, some of which are only accessible very rarely, will undoubtedly be an excellent opportunity to discover the rich religious and artistic heritage that these temples contain.
