The Real Tuna Infantina – Mixed Academic Tuna from the University of Algarve, on the 16th and 17th of March, participated in the XX Oito Badaladas festival, where it won several awards, and is scheduled to take part in the Trovas D´Amato festival on the 5th and 6th of April.
Real Tuna Infantina traveled from Faro to Coimbra, the birthplace of the students, to participate in the 20th edition of Oito Badaladas, organized by Quantunna, Tuna Mista of the Faculty of Sciences and Technologies of the University of Coimbra, where in an environment filled with music, joy and good mood, there was also no lack of companionship and friendship shared with the other tunas present.
TMIST, Literatuna, Estudantina Universitária de Viseu and, of course, the hostess Quantunna took the stage, making this a perfect opportunity for Real Tuna Infantina to represent the Algarve and the University, showing all the traditions that it insists on to transmit.
After completing the performances in the students’ city, Real Tuna Infantina from UALg brought to the Algarve the awards for Best Soloist, Tuna Mais Tema, Best Tambourine and Tuna do Público.
On the 5th and 6th of April, Real Tuna Infantina will head again to the center of the country, to participate in the IX Trovas D´Amato, a festival organized by TUSALD, in another weekend of music and tradition, in Castelo Branco , a city that will be the stage for the most spectacular spectacle featuring tunas from all over the country.
