The Municipal Political Committee of the Braga Section of the PSD visited, this weekend, the 56th edition of AGRO – International Agriculture, Livestock and Food Fair.
PSD Braga highlighted and congratulated “the growth of the Fair organized by InvestBraga” which, this year, had more exhibitors and a reinforced focus on activities.
The social democratic delegation was led by João Granja, president of PSD Braga, who praised “the importance of this event of great importance for the city of Braga and for the country”. “It is with great satisfaction and a great dose of pride that we witnessed up close, through this visit, the growth of Agro. In relation to the last edition, the Fair presents itself to Braga and the country with more exhibitors, more seminars and with a very strong focus on activities”, said João Granja, speaking of the “fundamental role that the International Fair of Agriculture, Livestock and Food serves to boost the local and national economy.”
“These days, AGRO is certainly a point of interest for professionals, but also – as we have seen – for countless families. We must highlight the quality of the projects shown here and which, with your participation, open their doors even further to society, to people”, added João Granja.

With 220 exhibitors, the 56th edition of this iconic event presents itself with an expanded space. The Fair’s growth is not only sustained by the greater number of exhibitors. In addition to expanding the number of activities, competitions and seminars, there are more new features, such as the Lusitanian horse riding arena. Also noteworthy is the consolidation of the showcooking area, with more than 30 demonstration sessions.

Thousands of people visited AGRO which, in the opinion of PSD Braga, “is an important asset of the municipality of Braga at several levels: economic, cultural and social”.
