YOUNG DANCE PROMISES CELEBRATE 20 YEARS OF THE DANCERTE COMPETITION

March 23rd to 26th, at Teatro das Figuras in Faro

Showing the best in youth dance in Portugal and internationally. The main objective of DANCERTE – Algarve International Dance Competitions – is to give a stage to young dancers, their teachers and promote the exchange of experiences between everyone involved in this art and its teaching.

This year, DANCERTE celebrates its 20th anniversary by once again bringing together the best young dancers, from national and international schools, in a competition that takes place at Teatro das Figuras, in Faro, from the 23rd to the 26th of March.

It consists of two competitions: a dancer competition, which is aimed at young dancers from national and foreign schools and covers the styles of classical dance, contemporary dance, character dance, jazz dance, hip hop and tap, and a choreography competition contemporary for choreographers.

Organized by the Associação Beliaev Centro Cultural – BCC since 2004, DANÇARTE has already achieved a place of reference in the national and international Dance scene.
