The airline Emirates returns to Braga on April 3rd to recruit more cabin attendants for its planes, offering salaries above 2,700 euros and the possibility of living for free in Dubai.
The “assessment day” will be at the Hotel Vila Galé, but a prior application is required and is completed online (here). Those interested are advised that they will spend the entire day at that location. Those chosen will spend eight weeks training in Dubai before taking up their duties.
Emirates offers hired workers 2,710 euros per month, plus stopover expenses (night stops, meal allowance, hotel accommodation and transport). The uniform is available free of charge, as are other trips.
Salary is tax-free, accommodation is free, provided by the company, as is transportation, as well as other discounts in Dubai.
Candidates must have a 12th grade level of education, experience in customer service, be fluent in English, have communication skills, be at least 1.60m tall and meet the necessary requirements to obtain a UAE work visa.
The Emirates currently employs more than 20,000 cabin crew, including many Portuguese.
It flies to Portugal with 14 weekly flights from Lisbon, being the world’s largest operator of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft. Globally, it flies to 140 destinations on six continents.
