Eight junior competitions and 8 senior competitions are part of the National Robotics Festival that will take place in Paredes de Coura, geographically the northernmost in Portugal for the first time, between the 2nd and 5th of May, at the Municipal Pavilion.

With the High Patronage of the President of the Republic and promoted by the Portuguese Robotics Society, together with EPRAMI-Escola Profissional do Alto Minho Interior and the Municipality of Paredes de Coura, this 23rd edition of the National Robotics Festival will feature 8 junior competitions and 8 senior competitions, in an event with the participation of teams from various parts of the world.

In its 22 years of existence, the National Robotics Festival has featured teams from more than 20 countries.

In this edition, and in parallel, the 24th IEEE, International Conference on Autonomous Robotic Systems and Competitions, will also take place on the 2nd and 3rd of May, in which the two keynote speakers international guests — Prof. Christine Coste, from the National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology, in France, and Prof. Daniel Polani, from the University of Hertfordshire, in the United Kingdom.
