FAM Mini Fest celebrates cinema, art and music in Lisbon

The organization is FAM (Film/Art/Music), a collective that celebrates and brings together independent short films, local Lisbon artists, bands and DJs, and small local food and drink projects.

The new cultural celebration space promises to shake up the city’s artistic scene with this inaugural event, which will take place Friday, March 29th, from 6pm to 2am, at the emblematic Bread Factory from Hub Criativo do Beato.

Films, exhibitions and live music

The night will begin with a selection of independent short films, chosen and produced by Black Cat Cinema, known for its cinema sessions popup in Lisbon.

In addition to cinematographic screenings, the festival will feature exhibitions by local artists, covering diverse forms of expression such as sculpture, painting and photography.

Live music will not be left out, with performances by the bands No-Bise and Impuzzle, who promise to bring their sounds to the FAM Mini Fest stage.

The night ends with a DJ set by the well-known Trol2000, charismatic figure on the music scene and owner of Peekaboo Records.

FAM Mini Fest festival program

This festival is an unmissable opportunity for culture lovers to come together and celebrate local talent in an inspiring and welcoming environment.

The FAM Mini Fest lineup includes:

  • 7pm – 8pm: 5 independent short films curated live throughout the evening together with partners Black Cat Cinema and Sunday Shorts Film Festival
  • 8:30 pm – 11:20 pm: 2 live bands – No-Bise and Impuzzle
  • 00h – 02h: Vinyl DJ – Trol2000
  • 3 art exhibitions: Beatriz Moura, Leesa Fleming, Mázinha
  • 5 local street food and drink concepts: FoodRiders, Kendrick, Secret Oven, Musa, Why Not

What is there to eat?

Gastronomy is an integral – and very important – part of these types of events, and at this festival you will find a selection of food and drink concepts that have already won the hearts of Lisbon residents.

Among the highlights are the pop-ups FoodRiders from Hub Criativo, Kendrick and Secret Oven, which will serve delights for all tastes.

To go with, craft drinks will be supplied by Musa brewery and Why Not, ensuring that attendees can toast art and culture in style.
