Vale do Tejo Professional School introduces itself to 9th year students

The Escola Profissional do Vale do Tejo (EPVT), in Santarém, opened its doors to 9th year students from several schools in the region for the “Experimenta 10” event, on Tuesday, March 26th.

This event, made up of a series of workshops free of charge, aimed to provide young people with a practical and informative experience on the different areas of training available at the school, helping them to make more informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.

During “Experimenta 10”, students had the opportunity to participate in two workshops throughout the day, one in the morning, another in the afternoon, choosing between the professional courses Multimedia Technician, Tourism Technician, Restaurant/Bar Technician, Kitchen/Pastry Technician and Technician /a of Communication and Digital Service. Each workshop was prepared to offer a practical and immersive view of the skills and knowledge needed in each of these professional areas, including sharing personal experiences from current EPVT students.

The event allowed all participants to interact closely with peers, teachers, trainers and professionals in each of these areas, providing them with knowledge about career prospects and the constantly evolving job market, not forgetting the equal possibilities of access to University education. During the activity, there was also space for a guided tour of the school space, lunch in the school’s educational restaurant “Claustrum” and, finally, the delivery of gifts and certificates of participation to all those present.
