A light vehicle crashed and overturned on the A3, in the Lama area, in Barcelos. The accident, which occurred on Friday morning, caused a minor injury who refused to be transported to the hospital. The situation is being normalized, with resources currently on site cleaning the road.
The alert for the accident on the A3, in the north-south direction, was given at 9:56 am this Friday and reported one injury. The victim is a man who got out of the car after the rollover and refused to be taken to the hospital, as he only had minor injuries.
According to the Ponte de Lima Volunteer Fire Department, the car rolled onto the side of the road and is not causing any impact on traffic. The teams are currently cleaning the road and removing the vehicle.
Initially there was a warning that the road was on fire, but at the scene members of the fire brigade realized that it was just the “radiator of the car that was giving off smoke”, said a source from that corporation.
There were 9 members and three fire engines at the scene, Brisa, GNR and a Siv from Ponte de Lima.
