On April 6th, in celebration of World Physical Activity Day, Previdência Portuguesa promotes a Walk to Nature, an initiative aimed at promoting health, social well-being and quality of life. This solidarity event aims to raise goods for CASA – Coimbra Homeless Support Center, with which the Associação Mutualista has collaborated in the past.

Participation in the walk requires the contribution of a non-perishable food item as a registration fee, although donations of other items such as men’s and children’s clothing, sheets, towels and personal hygiene products are welcome.

Starting at 10am, at Casa da Mutualidade, the route is approximately 3.4km, passing through Visconde da Luz, Portagem, Açude and ending at Choupal. At the end of the journey, a yoga class taught by teacher Juliana Carvalho from Espaço Ritual is scheduled.

The event is open to the entire community, however, participation in the yoga class is limited to 50 registrations. Registration can be made on the A Previdência Portuguesa website until April 3rd.
