Like the administration of Carris, CarrisTur started the process of reviewing CarrisTur’s AE late and badly.

At the meeting held on 28/03, the administration continues to say that the existing Carris rights do not adapt to the reality of CarrisTur, however, regarding the increase in salaries, they will accompany those who register with Carris. He therefore proposed that at CarrisTur the salary update would be €55.

This proposal disrespects workers because it does not restore purchasing power, does not take into account productivity gains and does not ensure the distribution of the profits that CARRISTUR obtained.

According to CarrisTur’s activity plan and budget, it ended 2023 with growth of 18% compared to 2022 and expects to continue this growth in 224 at around 14%. Therefore, we say these positive results from the company cannot continue to be achieved at the expense of the loss of its professionals.

The administration must respect, value and dignify those who work!

And the shareholder (Lisbon City Council), so generous in giving 3 million euros in tax exemption to Rock in Rio, must stop being stingy towards the workers, who, like those at Carris, in June will transport dozens of thousands of people for this event.

Our work is being recognized now, with a significant improvement in our direct salaries.

Salaries plus 150 euros, a daily meal allowance of 15 euros and working hours of 35 hours per week are possible and essential to motivate and retain those who are here and encourage other professionals to join the company.

It is therefore up to the administration to seriously reformulate its proposal.

At this meeting, management announced that it will fully integrate the single agent. I reject our proposal to apply the same vacation regime that exists at Carris and I have to respond to whether, given this position, you are available to at least apply the same 25 working days of vacation and to receive the vacation allowance, if reduce from 10 to 5 working days of vacation

A new meeting was scheduled for April 11th and another to discuss the Professional Careers Regulations for April 19th.

For us, we have no doubt – only with more action that involves workers, will we be able to find solutions!
