The 7th edition of the “Five Star Regions” award showcased the main regional icons, such as beaches, monuments, museums, villages and towns or traditional cuisine, in addition to evaluating regional brands and rewarding those that stand out for their excellence and high level of overall consumer satisfaction. This year, the Algarve region won 13 awards: 8 winning brands and 5 icons.

To reach the winning brands from the north to the south of the country, 454,000 consumers were involved, who in several months of tests evaluated more than 1,036 brands, of which only 128 managed to prove their excellence and win the “Five Stars Regions 2024” award.
