Caldenses won 1-0. ADA and CRP Ribafria play national futsal cups
Last Saturday, the GDC A-dos-Francos team received the team from the CCMI Academy, from Leiria, in the first leg of the qualification of the team representing the district of Leiria in the National Cup for the U-15 female category.
The game was very competitive, with two teams always wanting to win, but it was falling to the Caldenses, with a solitary goal scored by Iara Mendonça after the 70th minute.
With this result, the Caldense club has an advantage for the second leg, to be played on April 6th at the Soutocico Games Park.
The A-dos-Francos youth team, which has already concluded its participation in the 2nd National Division, in which it failed to score, is competing in the Under-19 National Cup.
The club’s senior team is competing in the promotion phase in the 3rd National Division, in which it is fourth in Series B, five points behind leader Guia.
Also in the national cups, but in futsal, the AD Alvorninha beginners team played the second round of the Under-15 Cup in Ponte de Sôr. Tomás Neto scored both goals for Caldenses in the 11-2 defeat. ADA has not yet scored in this Series D.
In the youth competition, CRP Ribafria drew 3-3 with Vitória de Santarém and now has 4 points in Series B, while Peniche AC lost in Miranda do Corvo (6-5), after winning in the opening round.
