As part of the Social Computer Support Program (FAS_PSAEI), the company Visualforma provided five laptop computers to the University of Algarve to be used by needy students who benefit from FAS_PSAEI.

Aware of this initiative, and within the scope of its social responsibility, the company Visualforma provided the aforementioned equipment that will be available to UAlg’s Social Action Services, and that will be provided to students, as a loan, allowing them to improve their living conditions. study, access to information and, in particular, preventing school dropout.

Considering the various requests that have been reported for support in terms of IT equipment, the management of the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Social Action Services of the University of Algarve contacted companies in the region to provide equipment, encouraging its reuse and sustainability. .

Aimed at UAlg students who find themselves in a situation of greater social vulnerability and economic need, this program aims to create a response that allows these students to continue their academic training in circumstances of equality and equity, focusing on the possibility of access quickly access digital material and computer equipment.
