The Municipality of Ponte de Lima is promoting the Municipal Reading Competition in partnership with the municipality’s School Groups, aimed at a diverse audience, from the 1st cycle of basic education to secondary education.
This is a relevant event that aims to inspire young readers to explore new worlds through the pages of books and discover the timeless pleasure of reading.
Through a literary competition, the best competitors are determined at two different times. The first moment coinciding with the first phase takes place in schools where the best competitors are chosen for the second stage, which will be the final phase, and will take place in the Municipal Library.
In this phase, taking place at the Municipal Library and with the collaboration of a jury, represented by national agents who promote books, reading, the arts and the written and oral word, which will evaluate the competitors’ oral test, the winners of the competition will be declared. , one for each level of education.
This event, open to the general public, will take place on May 2nd, in the morning, in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and companionship, where participants will be challenged to demonstrate their literary skills and reading comprehension and reading skills. oral expression.
All participants will receive certificates of participation. Winners will be rewarded with winner certificates and prizes.
