MAR Shopping Algarve | Nutritional assessment with collection of anthropometric data

In collaboration with the Algarve Private Hospital GroupO MAR Shopping Algarve will carry out a free screening initiative, which will cover nutritional assessment and collection of anthropometric data. The action takes place in April 27thfrom 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the HPA Clinic at MAR Shopping Algarve, and is part of the cycle of free monthly screenings and awareness-raising actions that take place in Meeting Places from MAR Shopping.

Ana Antunes, director of MAR Shopping Algarve, emphasizes the relevance of this initiative, expressing: “We believe that health is a fundamental element of individual and collective well-being and we are deeply committed to promoting a culture of well-being in our community. By investing in nutritional assessment and raising awareness about healthy habits, we are contributing to the development of a healthier and more resilient society. Through these actions, we aim to empower individuals to make more informed and healthier choices, providing them with the tools they need to take better care of themselves and those around them.”

Over the past few years, MAR Shopping Algarve’s ‘Scanning Agenda’ project has played a vital role in promoting health and wellbeing within local communities. This ongoing commitment reinforces the mission of meeting place in improving the quality of life of residents, something that, in 2023 alone, was reflected in a direct positive impact on more than 900 people.
