Visit the “Gastronomic Weekends” in Arouca and enjoy grilled veal and sweets

This weekend, April 26th, 27th and 28th, Arouca’s restaurants are once again preparing for the “Gastronomic Weekends”with grilled veal steak and exquisite conventual and regional sweets highlighted.

For the Municipality of Arouca, this gastronomic event is also a way of “discover the most beautiful landscapes of the UNESCO World Arouca Geopark and its geological heritage”launching the following invitation: “discover the Geosites Route and take a Geobike tour in Serra da Freita. Extend your stay and also visit the Paiva Walkways and the 516 Arouca – suspension bridge. Enjoy the cultural moments that we propose as part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April and enjoy our cuisine at the table of one of the restaurants participating in the ‘Gastronomic Weekends’ initiative”.

This initiative is organized by the Regional Tourism Entity of Porto and North of Portugal, to which the Municipality of Arouca and AGA – Associação Geoparque Arouca are associated.
