The Viana do Castelo GNR arrested two men and a woman, aged between 39 and 46, for theft and trafficking in narcotic products, in the municipality of Caminha.
The suspects were present for the first judicial interrogation at the Court of Caminha, where the coercive measure of preventive detention was decreed for the 44-year-old suspect and the coercive measure of weekly presentations at the police station in the area of residence was applied to the other two suspects.
In a statement, the Viana do Castelo Territorial Command explained that “following an investigation into thefts in commercial establishments, the military guards carried out police investigations that allowed the suspects to be identified and located”.
“When the suspects were approached, it was possible to determine that they were being transported in a stolen vehicle, culminating in their arrest in the act,” says the GNR.
Following the action, two searches were carried out, one at home and one in a motor vehicle, during which the following material was seized: 21 doses of cocaine, 61 doses of heroin, 4200 euros in cash, a precision scale, a vehicle , six cell phones, two computers, a tablet, various material used to break into establishments and various stolen objects.
