The municipality of Tondela will host another edition of Portugal a Dançar with a record number of participants. The dance competition takes place this weekend (May 10th to 12th) and brings together 230 dancers from the North and Center areas of the country who will present 54 choreographies.

This will be, moreover, “the most attended edition ever” of the initiative, says the Tondela Chamber, which supports the event, in a statement.

Portugal a Dançar, which takes place in Tondela for the fourth consecutive year, starts this Friday at 6pm, with round A. On Saturday, round B will take place at 9am and at 3:30pm the Latin Fusin workshops with Vadim Potapov , Commercial with Francisca Marques and Jazz with Ana Carina Rodriguez.

The regional final will take place on Sunday at 3 pm. The winners will participate in the national final of the competition in December.

The competition is open to anyone who has the talent to dance, regardless of age, dance style and performance (solo or collectively).
