Synopsis
The residents of Bacurau, a small village in the Brazilian hinterland, discover that the community is no longer on any map. Little by little, they notice something strange in the region: while drones fly through the skies, foreigners arrive in the city.
When cars are shot at and dead bodies begin to appear, Teresa, Domingas, Acácio, Plínio, Lunga and other inhabitants come to the conclusion that they are being attacked. Now, the group needs to identify the enemy and collectively create a means of defense.

Bacurau is not a point we can reach. I think it’s a point we reached, a long time ago. There are minorities being decimated in cities and suburbs. We see the genocide of the black population, genocide of the indigenous population. After all, nothing suits Latin society more than the fact that it was built from invasions and genocide of suffering peoples, actress Barbara Colen, interpreter of Tereza.
